We had been at Beaumont Road, Banbury for 5 years & found that we needed more space to display our rapidly expanding range of garage doors. The hunt began for new premises that would give us the flexibility & space we needed for the future.
The search was not as easy as we thought, but we found an empty unit on Thorpe Way, Banbury which would be ideal to adapt to our growing business needs & provide a large space for us to build a new garage door showroom. Unfortunately, it wasn’t even available for rent! Using our super powers of detection, we managed to track down the owners & wrote them a letter asking if the property was available. A few weeks later the deal was done & work began to transform was had last been a car washing facility into new offices, workshop & garage door showroom. Not thinking too closely about the sheer magnitude of the task, we forged ahead as fast as we could!
After clearing the property of the previous occupants ‘leftovers’, decoration of the offices began, next the replacement of the doors & windows & the addition of new security shutters, which are, as we here at Cherwell Doors would advise to our customers, of the highest quality & remote controlled, providing the maximum security available. With the front of the building transformed beyond recognition, we moved onto the large empty warehouse space which we would convert into our new Banbury garage door showroom.
All buildings works including a brand new staff kitchen were carried out by McGhie Carter building contractors to their usual exemplary standard & Tapper Interiors provided the interior divides & new suspended ceiling, so our blank canvass was complete. Once decorated, ‘Floor It Direct Ltd’ provided & fitted the carpet tiles throughout the showroom in an inventive blue & orange design incorporating our brand new company colour scheme.
Lastly, new garage doors, automatic operators & personnel door display models, from Hormann, Garador & Novoferm were installed & set up by the Cherwell Doors expert fitting teams! Once all point of sale information was added, we were now ready for customers to visit & select their new garage door!
